Spirit-Filled Photography & Media is a professional photography and Video service in Baltimore, MD. Spirit-Filled is what I define as those moments when you are filled with your innermost emotions, such as tearful joyousness, happiness, euphoria, ecstasy, delight, glee, and jubilation.

Here at Spirit-Filled Photography our goal is to capture every special moment you will treasure. Whether during a wedding or a portrait session, we specialize in capturing them in an eloquent, creative, unobtrusive way, and
making your precious heart- felt expressions become artistic treasures. John M. Smith is the owner of Spirit-Filled Photography & Media since 2007. John has been passionately evolving as a photographer since age 13. His
parents invested in John’s pursuit in photography with the purchase of Nikon film camera and darkroom equipment. As they witnessed John documenting everything in sight with his film camera, his parents enrolled him in photography and darkroom classes held at Shadyside’s Boys Club. He later went on to work with well-noted portrait and wedding photographer, the late Gene Huey from Braddock, PA.

Additionally, John earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with Biochemistry emphasis with honors from Tennessee State University in Nashville, TN. He accredited his photography career under the tillage with well-known photographers such as the late Gene Huey; Steve Stint, Wedding & Portrait Photographer; Doug Gordon, Wedding Photographer; David Saffir and Leo Heppner. John primarily advanced his knowledge in photography by capturing artistic moments in a myriad of creative ways. He is currently a member of Professional Photographers of America, Inc. with an objective goal of becoming a Certified Professional Photographer in fall of 2016.
